Hi I’m Penny, the face behind ~

A Midlife Christian Chronic Illness Blogger since 2016, homebound with Severe ME/cfs since 2004. In 2022 I became a Nazareth Companion with St Martin’s-in-the-fields, London, Nazareth Community.
I love discussion, being creative, humour (laughing has to be my favourite hobby), nature, and travel. Although I can rarely do very much or go anywhere!
My recent efforts to save local wildlife habitat have had to mainly stop due to huge relapse. But I continue to do what I can and nudge where I can. #NoPlanetB

As a chronically Ill mother seeing it from that side touched my heart..my kids are too young to tell me and I try but they do miss out because of me and I feel guilty, I hope they are understanding like this. It’s beautiful

I’m a chronically ill mother also. And I agree, it’s a beautiful post. All we can do as parents is our best, but it isn’t easy. Gentle hugs from here.
